Abstract
New methodology of determining grid access capacity based on solving optimal power flow problem is presented in the paper. Nodal marginal prices are used as additional indicators to optimize the power level and location of new generation sources. Based on the methodology indicated above the results of analysis of assessing the grid access capacity in Polish National Power System in long-term horizon are also presented.
