Abstract

The article highlights the importance of internet access for efficient communication, staying up-to-date with market trends, and remote work. The analysis described in this paper is based on data in Poland from 2012 to 2021. The analysis focuses on the past decade, which means the years 2012 to 2021. The latest available complete statistical data is from 2021, and because of that, the analysis is concluded this year. We analyzed data for all Polish 16 provinces. The analysis utilized data on the percentage of organizations with access to the internet, the percentage of organizations with Internet pages, the percentage of organizations giving employees mobile devices with mobile access to the Internet, as well as data on GDP per capita. The study shows that the majority of Polish organizations have internet access, but there are differences between provinces. The article emphasizes the need for companies to have a website to be competitive in the market and presents data on the percentage of Polish organizations that have websites. The study also finds that equipping employees with mobile devices enhances work efficiency, accelerates business processes, and contributes to innovation in the enterprise. The article concludes that there is a strong positive relationship between GDP per capita and the proportion of organizations with a website and that wealthier provinces have higher access to advanced tools and technology. The research confirms the hypothesis that organizations investing in mobile devices for their employees achieve higher productivity and efficiency.
