Abstract
The paper analyses a gas-turbine system with external combustion of biomass. For a selected system the thermodynamic and economical characteristics have been determined, as well as the effect of such parameters as the pressure ratio in the compressor, the difference of temperatures in high-temperature heat exchanger on the power rate and energy efficiency of the system. Basing on a computer model of the heat exchanger for the purpose of determining its size. The obtained results provided the assumptions for the economical analysis, basing on the determination of dependence of price of electricity and heat. The sensitivity of the economical parameters to changes of the specific capital costs and the price of fuel have been analysed, talcing also into account that part of the heat of combustion gases used for the drying of biomass.
