Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the causes of mould outbreaks on the internal surface of partitions wall and to propose preventive measures. Thermal and humidity analyses were carried out on the basis of numerical calculations. As a result of the research, it was established that the most important factors determining the development of mould are the relative humidity of the air and the thermal quality of the construction envelope. The risk of mould formation must be predicted early in the design stage.
