Abstract
This article presents general conception of automation system SAUO for three-terminal line. Use of SAUO will improve the efficiency of fault elimination especially in three-terminal line with local sources connection. This article shows the results of simulation researches into distance protection working in power distribution grid 110 kV with wind farm. The aim of this research is valuation of selected aspects of this protections functioning. Many anomalies were the reasons for creating system SAUO.
