Abstract

In this paper an approach to synthesis and generation of piece-wise wide-sense stationary random acoustic local fields defined by their power spectral densities being piece-wise deterministic functions of time is proposed. The proposed approach is based on a synthesis and simulation of wide-sense stationary power spectral density defined multisine random time-series with the multisine transformation. The multisine transformation is used to synthesise and simulate wide-sense stationary power spectral density defined multisine random time-series recursively. Spectral properties of the synthesised power spectral density defined multisine random time-series are changing in the corresponding iterations due to changes in time of the power spectral density of an acoustic local field to be synthesized and generated. The corresponding piece-wise wide-sense stationary random acoustic local field may be generated with for example a loud-speaker using realizations of the synthesised and simulated power spectral density defined multisine random time-series and additional analogue filtration. In the proposed approach active noise control systems are used as a support to attenuate unwanted environment noise. Properties of the proposed approach to synthesis and generation of piece-wise wide-sense stationary random acoustic local fields are discussed.
