Abstract

Problems of forecasting the safe period and effective operation of machine and equipment elements have been discussed in the article. Methods of the simulation investigations of the thermal-mechanical fatigue process and modelling objects have been discussed. Methods to determine relations between the structure of materials and their fatigue properties have been presented.
