N2 - The present paper describes the simplest methods of the numerical analysis of a model of continuous culture of microorganisms limited for growth with mixture of substrates, which is very important from a practical point of view. In turn, the contribution of the individual substrates was set by the weight-coefficient - r. Two important cases have been taken into account: the influence of the dilution rate D on steady-states values of the biomass concentration in the presence of one source of substrate and the influence of both parameters D and r on steady-states values of the biomass concentration for the mixture of two substrates. Apart from using the basic numerical methods for solving ordinary differential equations, it has been presented the algorithm for detecting stable limit cycles. The presented algorithms can be implemented in most programming languages for which there exist free compilers what releases users from the necessity of use of commercial software for the numerical analysis of the systems.
