Simulation and analysing data transfer in programmable system with distrubuted inputs and outputs

Research output: Contribution to journalConference articlepeer-review

Abstract

The paper deals with simulation and analysis tools of control system with distributed inputs and outputs based on TCP/IP and UDP/IP protocols. These protocols are not strictly prepared for industrial control applications. Mostly for improving time-delay ability of communication, TCP/IP protocol is changed by UDP/IP. These protocols have different buffering of data which can cause dead-lock. It is very important to have the ability to simulate network behaviors that depends on real time data transfer and buffer capacity. Methodology of dataflow models for systems simulation and analysis are often used. Model of the simultaneously working processors executing independent tasks may be used for simulation of the wide range of systems with parallel processes structure.
