Abstract
In the article the possibilities of shaping the aesthetic concrete face of decorative and/or structural elements are presented. Based on the literature review, it is concluded that this is a promising field of application of architectural, self--compacting and fiber reinforced concretes. Elements with decorative faces can be used both in newly constructed buildings as well as during the renovation and modernization of existing, often historic buildings. The presented research program confirms that the concrete workability, strength, durability and aesthetic requirements intended for making a decorative lintel are fulfilled.
