Abstract

Heat transfer processes proceeding in axially symmetrical domain of heated tissue are analyzed. The problem is described by Dual-Phase Lag Equation (DPLE) supplemented by appropriate boundary and initial conditions. The aim of this research is to estimate the changes in the transient temperature field due to the perturbations of the DPLE parameters. For this purpose, the methods of sensitivity analysis are applied. The direct problem and additional ones connected with the sensitivity analysis are solved using the explicit scheme of finite difference method. In the final part of the paper the examples of computations are presented.
