Self-diagnostic procedure for close door processes in machining systems

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

The paper deals with works on certification method to use a machining system for pre-, in process and post inspection of machined workpieces. Problem is formulated as follows: close door machining requires, use of measuring systems, but it is depended on machine condition and environment and probing systems. To provide close door process systems and machine must be certified to provide proper results and enable produce part with agreement of geometrical requirements. The paper explains problems with application of that solution in industry, and presents proposed method being under investigation for application for air-space industry.
