Abstract

Paper discuss mechanism of interaction between geogrid and aggregate for stabilization of unbound aggregate layer. Some results from research in laboratory on the assessment of the effectiveness of triaxial geogrid on improvement of the stiffness of the unbound aggregate layer of pavement base has been discussed. FEM analysis of the pavement are discussed in light of comparison with measurement. Initial results from test pavement section deflection measurements are included in second part of paper. Discussion on rut propagation after initial trafficking on different sections is also given.
