Abstract
This article presents results of an interdisciplinary literature analysis in the field of supporting environmental decisions-making processes in company. A company was considered as an independent entity and as an element of a wider system - the supply chain. The main objective of this article was to characterize general conditions of a decision-making process related to environmental activities within a company, identification of expected functionality of the system supporting such decisions and an analysis of existing software tools which can be used within this area.
