Abstract
The paper deals with one aspect of safety determinant as train approaching or car detection on the crossing level. It is focused on research on longitudinal vibration of rail in aspect of vehicle passage identification. Train detection is consider as fundamental information for the railway safety systems, for the crossing level it is similar important to identify the passage of the car vehicle by the crossing level. The results obtained shows some interesting conclusions, as increase of longitudinal vibration amplitudes correlated with the train or car passage. Additionally the Fourier transformation were calculated, which allows to identified dominant frequency and potential possibilities of signals separation for train or car passage.
