Abstract
The paper discusses a general approach to the algorithms of ranking multiple-aspect alternatives constructed with the aid of fuzzy relational equations. It is pointed out that the algorithms can be constructed by considering data sets provided by prototypical situations. Discriminating properties of the proposed method are also taken into consideration.
