Radiation dose rate

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

The concept of dose rate is vital in trapped charge dating techniques with uncertainty or error being directly reflected in the calculated age. The determination of the radiation dose that has been acquired, e.g., by mineral grains, may be a complex task, requiring a range of assumptions to be made.
