Abstract
This paper aims to develop a method for estimating the effect of the limited values of an actuator output on the quality of control. The proposed approach is to use dynamic systems models for quantitative studies of control quality. The paper compares the performance of an actuator with saturation at the output and the device without such a limitation. For a quantitative description, the author proposed indicators measuring saturation performance and a method for calculating the dependence of control quality on these indicators.
