Abstract
In this paper a current-output push-pull power amplifier have been described, including its circuit structure and principles of operation. The amplifier is composed of discrete components. Active linearization technique is applied to its output-stage power transistors. Some hints are also given which relate to practical implementation of this solution. Finally, measurement results are presented which reveal true linearity of the author's prototype amplifier during operation without the global feedback loop.
