Abstract
The article contains purposes of diagnosis of cable lines, qualification criteria of cable lines to diagnostic tests and the way how a sequence of tests should be arranged. The factors influenced a process of arrangement of a sequence of tests are discussed; probability of damage and its potential effects have been taken into account. The mathematical method of many-criteria comparative evaluation in order to establish a sequence of diagnostic tests of cable lines is presented.
