Abstract
The article presents how discrete wavelet transform algorithms transmit deterministic error signals from input to output. The study defines an error model and provides a quantitative description of the error signal parameters at both the input and output of the algorithm. Since the algorithm’s transfer function is used in describing its properties, the article indicates how to determine this value both analytically and when using a ready-made implementation of the algorithm with an unknown numerical structure.
