Abstract
A biocatalyst based on Candida antarctica lipase B phys. immobilized on industrial-grade multi-walled C nanotubes was developed, characterized by high activity and stability. Its application in the chemoenzymatic synthesis of e‑caprolactone allowed for 83% conversion of cyclohexanone (45°C, 5 h) while maintaining activity over 4 consecutive reaction cycles.
