Abstract
A method of probabilistic modeling of delays in a wireless system consisting of devices applying the same communication elements has been presented in the paper. A transmission in the system is disturbed which needs retransmissions of the sent message. The presented method consists in using Dirac’s delta function to describe constant delays and the finite function sequences to model multi-transmissions. The exemplary analytical description of the delays in a multi-element communication chain is presented and verified by using Monte Carlo method.
