Abstract
The paper presents an attempt to create a numerical model for a deposition process of sticky ash particles impacting the in-line bundles of tubes. At this stage, the model uses approximations found in the literature, allowing for calculation of ash fusion temperatures basing on ash oxides composition. These temperatures determine if the ash particles hitting the tube surface, or later deposit surface, stick to and build the deposit or bounce off. However, such approximations may be erroneous particularly for biomass or coal-biomass blends combustion. Deposition was simulated using the procedures prepared for bonded and powdery deposits, published earlier, this time tailored to sticky ash particles deposition.
