Abstract
The article is devoted to issues related to improving energy efficiency in public buildings. The adopted research method is based on measurements of energy quality, which are the basis for the development of a plan to increase the energy efficiency of buildings. The article describes the results of measurements carried out for a selected office building, characterized by a cyclical load profile. The energy quality parameters were measured, which were referenced to the currently valid standards. As part of the study, a plan for saving and increasing the energy efficiency of the building and implementation of PV sources was proposed. Based on the results of measurements from BMS systems dozens of office buildings models for average daily electricity consumption were developed. The model was compared with the electricity production profile from the PV system to show the benefits of implementation. The article covers technical and economic aspects as the implementation of the analysis of the quality of electricity for public buildings.
