Abstract
The content of volatile, flammable and non-flammable parts, Cl, total S, C and H, as well as the heat of combustion and cal-orific value of contaminated films and mixed automotive plas-tic parts were detd. Contaminated but homogeneous waste films met the requirements for alternative fuels but not met by mixed engineering plastics due to the high content of Cl.
