Abstract
flat-bottomed mixer driven by a d.c. motor, equipped with a (non)perforated 170-mm disk, was used to mix aq. 50% glycerol, 1,2-ethanediol or H 2O. A e/ec. set was devised to measure transient voltages and Intensities, and hence the av. mixing power. The Euler and the Reynolds nos. were evaluated and the laminar, transition, and turbulent flow zones are shown graphically.
