Abstract
The compn. of the reaction gases produced by gasification of waste rubber, polyethylene, polypropylene and wood were simulated by Geringer and Traustel methods. Temp., pressure and the nature of the gasification agent (air, steam, a mixture thereof) were selected as variables. To verify the simulation results, wood waste was gasified with air in a lab. furnace. The simulated data differed from the exptl. ones less than by 15%.
