Abstract
This article presents the results of work aimed at preparing an automated test station, used to assess the effectiveness of the protection of photovoltaic inverters against grid voltage decay. In photovoltaic inverters designed only for on-grid operation, this protection is extremely important, and the method of testing is described in details in the PN-EN 62116 standard. In view of the growing need for a comprehensive quality assessment of photovoltaic inverters available on the market, the test system should be automated with as little involvement as possible on the part of the staff.
