Abstract
The aq. soins, of Acid Orange 7, Acid Red 18 and Acid Green 16 were acidified with H2SO4 and treated with Na percarbonate (I) and FeSO4 hydrate to remove the colour of the soins. The optimum efficiency of the process (discoloration after below 5 min) was found at the I dosis 300 mg/ dm3, pH 3 and Fe/I ratio 0.25-0.3. The use of I was however less efficient than the use of com. CaO2 where the oxidant dosis was lower (230 mg/dm3).
