Abstract

The paper presents an application of the IMGAMO (Immune Game Theory Multiobective Algorithm) in multiobjective optimization of electrothermal actuators. Different types of functionals, which depend on equivalent stresses, deflection of the actuators, total heat generated by the actuator and volume of the actuators, have been formulated. The values of the functionals are calculated on the basis of the results obtained from numerical simulations. Boundary-value problem of electro-thermo-mechanical analysis is solved by means of Finite Element Method (FEM). Numerical example of multiobjective optimization of electrothermal actuator is presented. The comparison of the proposed method with the NSGAII algorithm has been presented.
