Abstract
This method and type of function are used to obtain a simple model of the ECG signal. The signal can be easily reconstructed at any moment of time using a very small number of samples. Using the procedure described, an algorithm for ECG data compression can also be obtained, since after A/D conversion the signal can be saved in a reduced form, consisting only of the characteristic points of the morphology.
