Abstract

In this paper the trigonocephaly, that is one of the type of craniosynostosis was described. It was presented the virtual planning of the surgical treatment and the simulation of skull shape after the correction. Also the main strain, that occur during the surgery were calculated. To obtain the 3-dimensional geometry from CT scans it was used the Mimics v14 software and to obtain the results of biomechanical analysis it was used the Ansys software.
