Abstract

In this paper an instance of approximation of average graphs of subsidence measured on the ground points of observational line has been shown. There the higher orders polynomials and a division of vertical profile of subsidence trough into parts have been used. A proper number of graph sections and a polynomial order on the basis of minimization of value of a variability coefficient of random dispersion of measured subsidence have been chosen. Approximation of average graphs of terrain surface subsidence caused by an underground mining exploitation of hard coal seam (carried out by the use of the longwall system) for each exploitation stage has been done.
