Abstract
In this article the issues of dynamic equation formulation with help of Lagrange and Newton-Euler formalism are presented in context of branched kinematic chains of head positioning system. The author focus on common aspects of both formalism related with forward kinematics. The advantages and disadvantages of both formalism in frame of easiness and speeds of dynamic equation formulation of hard disk drives head positioning systems are presented.
