Abstract
To elaborate the procedure of determining the diffusion coefficients, based on the measurements of sorption of volatile substances vapors in polymer films, the sorption of steam and methanol vapor in degassed and nondegassed Poltherm and Estrofol films was measured. The differences in behavior of degassed and nondegassed films were explained based on the suggested hypothesis of nonuniform distribution of solvent in the bulk of polymer.
