Abstract
The article deals with the issues related to the occurrence of structural imperfections of complex wall insulation systems. The aim of the work is to determine the influence of ETICS imperfections on the thermal protection condition of external walls. Additionally, a classification of thermal defects and dislocations, which constitute an irregularity in the implementation of ETICS systems, along with uncontrolled air infiltration occurring in selected cases, was proposed. The knowledge of the characteristic quantities describing them allows to correlate them with the actual thermal insulation of external walls.
