Abstract

The results of investigations of the technological plasticity of aluminized steel strips and tubes in DX53D+AS120 grade, are presented in the paper. In order to determine the strips formability, their mechanical properties, flat and normal anisotropy were investigated. Tests of bending at single angle, drawability tests by the Erichsen method were performed, as well as the limiting drawing degree and the yield point was determined. Then tubes welded by high frequency currents were made from strips under industrial conditions. The produced tubes underwent the quality and forming ability assessments. Tests of expanding and flattening were made, and also investigations of hydromechanical tubes expanding at various configurations of the applied pressure and axial force.
