Abstract
This paper presents the concept of the effective use of a waste heat in a combined cycle power plant with carbon capture and compression installation by the integration with Stirling engines. The location of the waste heat sources allowed for the use of two Stirling engines: first using flue gas heat from the heat recovery steam generator directed to the absorber, second using the energy of compressed gases in the CO2 compression installation. In the case of a CO2 compression installation, the analysis was carried out for two variants: with 4 and 8 sequential compression of carbon dioxide.
