Abstract

This paper contains complex chemical kinetics calculations of the reburning process. The paper shows how compounds of pyrolysis gas such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane, ethane, acetylene reduce nitrogen oxide produced during coal combustion. The shows effect of these compounds on NO emission as a function of temperature and time. Simulations show that hydrocarbons have big importance in reduction of nitrogen oxide especially at high temperature over 1000K. Lower temperatures prefer hydrogen and carbon monoxide as a good reburning compound.
