abstract = "The impact of electromagnetic field generated by mobile phone (f=900 MHz) on the prooxidant antioxidant balance in stomach tissue of male rats was estimated by means of analysis of the contents of markers of oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation as well as the activity of selected antioxidant enzymes. It was concluded that 4-week lasting exposure of rats to high frequency electromagnetic field emitted by mobile phone causes a slight inhibition of the activity of some antioxidant enzymes (probably due to excessive consumption) without significant changes in the activity of oxidant processes in stomach tissue, enabling the maintenance of prooxidant antioxidant balance.",
