Abstract
The article presents a proposal of a simple and relatively cheap imitator of PV photovoltaic panels. This proposal was simulated and the tests were verified on a test stand. Measurements in the tested system showed a significant influence of temperature on the shape of the U-I characteristics. The proposed design of the imitator allows for typical tests of photovoltaic inverters, including verification of the MPPT algorithms implemented in them.
