Abstract

By proper processing of signals, it is possible to eliminate interference, improve data quality, and obtain more accurate information. In the field of diagnostic medicine and patient monitoring, appropriate signal preparation is essential for correctly interpreting results and making sound clinical decisions. The aim of this study is to present the influence of modifying selected averaging parameters on the generation of the ensemble average of ICG signal. A comparison of ensemble average was conducted considering recordings of 20s and 40s in the range of 1-17 average complexes. The results indicate that the quantity of average complexes should be precisely specified and optimized to ensure globally comparable results.
