Abstract

In this paper the scope of high power turbogenerators axial fans modernization was shown. On example of selected applications in turbogenerators TWW-230 and TWW-220-2A/L thermal calculation results, verified on the basis of thermal measurements before and after the modernization, were presented. Effect of this type of fans modernization on the growth of the turbogenerator nominal power was shown as well.
