Abstract
A computer model and results of the experimental verification of two Class E inverters have been presented in the paper. The first inverter operated in optimum mode with the frequency of 27 MHz and the output power of about 500 W. The operating frequency and the output power of the second Inverter were preserved, but the inverter operated in non-optimum mode. Its parameters were modified in order to minimize transistor power losses - to increase efficiency. The computer model was verified experimentally. Measurements validated the model and proved the possibility of increase in the efficiency of the Class E inverter.
