Abstract

The paper presents results of experimental research on tibia fixation with the use of the stabilizing system for corrective osteotomy, developed by the authors. In particular, the biomechanical characteristics determined the dependence of displacements of the analyzed system as a function of axial loading with force of F = 0 ÷ 2000 N. The research is continuation and verification of previous study of the analyzed system realized with the use of the finite element method. The obtained results allow to evaluate the behavior of the different elements of the system for osteotomy under various loads occurring during use of the implant.
