Abstract

This paper investigates the possibility of using photogrammetry and image processing to obtain vibration mode shapes and natural frequencies. The utilized setup uses a single camera, while the plate is excited by a speaker. To facilitate the mode shape recognition, a frequency sweep is used instead of a broadband signal. The obtained results are used to evaluate the accuracy and practical potential of the proposed measurement method.
