Abstract

The paper identifies the changes of determinants of long-term development planning of the national transmission system. In order to take account of these considerations, it is necessary to implement economic and market planning methodology, for which the basic analytical requirements were specified in detail. The optimal way to implement a new planning methodology is to obtain at a commercial basis the calculation tool that meets these requirements.
