Abstract
A review, with 17 refs. of the methods for processing soap-stocks from refining crude vegetable oils. Treatment of the soapstock with mineral acids in bulk or continuously operated reactors, biotreatment of the soapstock with acidogenic bacteria, and converting the soapstock in a fertilizer were described in particular.
