Abstract

We present a diagnostic method which uses a fuzzy voltage wave to test the insulation systems. Proposed solution can be used in diagnostics of electrical machines and devices. Our method allows to determine parameters of the elements of an insulation diagram. For this purpose, a mathematical model of the coil insulation system is built and an evolutionary optimization method employing Red Fox Optimization algorithm is proposed to determine the system parameters is a given specific industrial setting. The optimization process is carried out in a parallel mode, which makes the solution feasible for real-world applications. Research experiments show high efficiency in various scenarios.
